Governor Francis Nwifuru Reassigns 15 Perm Sec Across Various Ministries in Ebonyi State

In a strategic move to streamline the administration, Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru announced on Thursday a significant reshuffle, redeploying 15 permanent secretaries across different ministries within the state.

This development follows the controversial dismissal of 17 permanent secretaries by the former governor, David Umahi, while retaining the aforementioned 15 to align with the new administration helmed by Nwifuru.

The statement detailing the reshuffle specifies Monday Nkwuda’s deployment to the Ministry of Works and Transport, Mrs. Joy Mbam to the Ministry of Lands and Survey, Chukwuma Ojiogu to the Ministry of Power, Mrs. Uzoma Betty to the Public Procurement Council, and Albert Aloh to the Ministry of Justice.

Other placements include Ogbonnaya Ota to the Ministry of Internal Security, Mrs. Ogechi Ugwuocha to Lagos Liaison, Mrs. Felicia Arusi to the Ministry of Agriculture, Mrs. Mfon Williams to the Ministry of Finance, Kizito Nwovu to Abuja Liaison, and Mrs. Henrietta Oruh to the Ministry of Infrastructure.

The announcement was made public via a statement signed and released by the Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor, in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State. This strategic reassignment is expected to facilitate better coordination and synergy across the various administrative departments under the leadership of Governor Nwifuru.
