Former Chairman of Afikpo South Local Government Area and All Progressives Congress candidate for Afikpo North/Afikpo South Federal Constituency, Chief Eni Uduma Chima, has praised Governor David Nweze Umahi for bringing peace to Ekoli Edda.
In a statement, Chief Uduma also praised security agencies for their handling of the situation and condemned the violence, including the killing of a pregnant woman and the burning of property, that took place in the area.
He emphasized that he had no involvement in the incidents and stated that the actions of the individuals responsible have been misrepresented by others in an attempt to distract from a thorough investigation.
Chief Uduma also called for justice to be served and for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.
