Residents of Ebonyi State capital, Abakaliki, have decried the sudden fuel scarcity which hit the city on Monday.
Ebonyi News Network gathered that only two filling stations, Pele, along Presco Juncture and NNPC Mega Station along Abakaliki -Enugu express way sold patrol to the public.
Responding to Ebonyi News Network, one of the commuters revealed that while Pele Filling Station sold at NGN 170, NNPC sold at NGN143. He also observed that while the former was free of queue, the latter had many cars lined up in wait for the product.
At the time of this report, the cause of the scarcity was yet to be ascertained.
